Tsavo

Tsavo is a massive national park located in south-eastern Kenya, known for its vast, open landscapes and abundant wildlife. The park is divided into two sections, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, which together cover an area of over 22,000 square kilometres.

Tsavo is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species. The park’s landscape is diverse and includes rolling hills, savannas, and semi-arid desert, with the Tsavo River running through the middle of the park.

One of the stand-out walking safaris, The Great Walk of Africa, is operated in Tsavo by Tropical Ice.
