Found in many reserves in East and Southern Africa, a Wilderness Trails camp is small and dedicated to walking safaris. They can be permanent or erected for the duration of the trails season and offer a wide range of comfort standards from a mattress on the ground to luxury safari tents with en-suites.
Trails camps generally sleep a maximum of eight, and can be exclusive-use for your party or shared with other walking enthusiast guests. Guests may walk directly from camp, but it’s more usual to start with a short drive in a game viewing vehicle to walk at a different location each day.
The remote northern section of Kruger National Park is one of the finest walking safari destinations in Africa and Pafuri Walking has the only dedicated seasonal trails camps in the park.
