No visit to Zimbabwe is complete without seeing Mosi-oa-Tunya, or Victoria Falls. The falls – which can be visited from Zambia or Zimbabwe – are in an area without large numbers of wildlife, but as elephants are present it is essential to walk with qualified guides.
A good base for walkers is Tsowa Safari Island, located upriver from the falls.
