The Tuli Block is a rugged and remote region that is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The area is characterized by rocky outcrops, dry riverbeds, and majestic baobab trees, making it a stunning and awe-inspiring destination for nature lovers.
Tuli comprises a number of privately owned game reserves that offer a range of safari experiences, from walking safaris and game drives to horseback riding and birdwatching. In addition to its incredible natural beauty and abundance of wildlife, the Tuli Block also has a rich cultural heritage, with evidence of human habitation dating back over 300,000 years.
Lodge-based walks are available in Mashatu Game Reserve. To the south, Tuli Wilderness offer a selection of walking bases, and Harena Field Trails Camp is a seasonal mobile walking safari. Training Company EcoTraining have a couple of fascinating Trails courses in the area.
