Serengeti, Tarangire, Nyerere, Ruaha… the parks of Tanzania are rightly renowned for their unspoilt wilderness and huge herds of game animals.
The best selection of walking safaris is in the enormous Serengeti, where multi-day mobile safaris and lodge-based walks are offered. South of the Serengeti, Tarangire has similar style walks and off the beaten track, both Ruaha and Nyerere have excellent guided walking options.
