Operated by pan-African park management company African Parks, Matusadona National Park is located in northern Zimbabwe, on the southern shore of Lake Kariba. The park is benefiting from wildlife reintroductions and improved management and wildlife present includes elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and various antelope species.

It’s a beautiful walking area with terrain of rugged mountains, vast grasslands, and forests of mopane and mahogany trees. Accommodation options at Matusadona National Park range from tented camps to luxury lodges, with most of them located along the lakeshore, offering spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding wilderness.

The park can also be included in a walks-centred tour of Zimbabwe.
