In the care of two professional guides, explore animal trails in the wilderness zones in the north of Kruger National Park. These zones are only accessible on foot, and walkers must carry all their supplies for three nights in the wild including food, stove and tent. Water is sourced in nature from rivers or by digging in sandy river beds.
There are three SANParks backpacking trails in Kruger National Park. The meeting point is a rest camp, where cars and luggage can be safely left. Transfer to the trail head is by game viewing vehicle, and the locations are varied.
